Inventory Optimizer
Inventory Optimizer balances service level against working capital — automatically, across every SKU at every location.
Most organizations carry the wrong inventory mix: too much of slow-movers, too little of A-class SKUs at the peripheral DCs, safety-stock targets set years ago that no one has revisited. Inventory Optimizer fixes that continuously. It runs against your live demand patterns, supplier reliability scores, and service-level commitments, and tunes the policy parameters — safety stock, reorder point, order-up-to level, EOQ — that drive how the rest of the platform sees inventory.
The agent picks up signals other planning surfaces miss: demand variability that's quietly changing the right safety-stock level, supplier lead-time drift that's making your old reorder point too tight, a shift in customer mix that warrants re-segmenting which SKUs deserve A-class buffer. It re-tunes proactively, surfaces the recommended policy change to the planner, and (with approval) writes the new parameters back to the connected ERP / planning system so the rest of the loop respects them.
The result: working capital trends down as slow-movers get rationalized; service level holds or improves because the buffer where it matters gets sharper.
⚠ Detailed UI walkthrough pending capture against the staging platform. This page will expand with screenshots, the policy-tuning workflow, ABC/XYZ classification configuration, and the approval workflow for parameter writebacks once the surface is captured.
What This Documentation Will Cover
Configuring service-level targets per ABC class / location / channel, integrating with the connected ERP for parameter writeback, reviewing the audit trail of policy changes, and tuning the agent's optimization horizon and constraint weights.
