Create a Storyboard

A Storyboard is the working artifact that turns a recurring question into a shared, scheduled, interactive surface. You pin saved analyses, layer in Athena-generated commentary, schedule it to the right audience on the right rhythm — and the result becomes the canonical view of that question for everyone who needs it. This is the platform's Level 3 mode (Co-Pilot) in everyday use.

⚠ Procedure steps below need UI capture against the staging platform. The shape is in place; the actual click-paths and screenshots are TBD.

Before you start

  • A ConverSight account with at least the Business Analyst role.
  • Some saved analyses to pin (Athena threads or Data Explorer views you've already built).
  • A clear sense of who the Storyboard is for and what cadence they need it on (Monday 7am to S&OP? Friday 4pm to leadership?).

Steps

  1. Step one — what to click and what to see.
  2. Step two.
  3. Step three.

Verify

The Storyboard renders with the pinned analyses, Athena's narrative commentary alongside each chart, and the scheduled distribution active. Recipients can open the shared link, apply filters, drill in, and ask follow-up questions of Athena directly from any card.

Tips for designing a useful Storyboard

  • One narrative per board. A Storyboard that tries to answer five different questions becomes a dashboard. Resist.
  • Lead with the headline. Top card should answer "what's the punchline?" before the supporting charts.
  • Pair every chart with commentary. The commentary is what survives the meeting — let Athena draft it, refine the tone.
  • Schedule it to a specific audience. A Storyboard with no scheduled distribution is a one-off. Make it recurring.
